I am a researcher and consultant on technology policy and management, a doctor of Delft University of Technology, a research associate of the P2P Foundation, a member of Commonslab and a member of the organization team of the Festival of the Commons (aka CommonsFest) in Heraklion-Crete.

In the recent past, I was the coordinator of the research of the FLOK Society Project in the areas of biodiversity, open-sustainable agriculture, open design commons, distributed manufacturing and distributed energy.

Currently, my research interests are centred on the governance of the Commons and peer production projects, on the open design and open source development model and on practices of open/user innovation.
 

In addition, I've been involved in copyleft activism and feel very strongly about it, especially with regard to the harmful effect of patents and copyright law on innovation and creativity.
