In the recent past, I was the coordinator of the research of the FLOK Society Project in the areas of biodiversity, open-sustainable agriculture, open design commons, distributed manufacturing and distributed energy.
Currently, my research interests are centred on the governance of the Commons and peer production projects, on the open design and open source development model and on practices of open/user innovation.
In addition, I've been involved in copyleft activism and feel very strongly about it, especially with regard to the harmful effect of patents and copyright law on innovation and creativity.
On a more personal note, I've been into electronic music for a long time, since I was a teenager in the mid 1990s. So, if you're curious, this is what I am now listening to:
